Last year I was lucky to participate in a beautiful, mind opening project. It was one of those experiences, that left you stunning, how amazing this world actually is. This coincidence of dance, music and different characters moved my mind, heart and body to step for a moment out of my comfort zone and to explore space and people through multiple perspectives, colourful, bright, with love.
My friend Aima wrote a great reflexion of these weeks in our mixed abilities group. It is so surprising how fast and with only little effort people can create something immaterial that still lasts so long.
In my neighborhood there is something that brightens up my day, no matter if it’s sunny or rainy. Something very small that puts a smile on my face every time when I’m going down the street to do grocery shopping. Thank you little stranger!
Imagine being tired of a whole day of work, walking home, passing by streets, buildings and pedestrians. Do you even know, that they exist? Everything what you are thinking is your undone stuff at work, your unpaid bills and some call phones, which you should have done yesterday…
All of a sudden you crash into a huge soap bubble, that bursts and with it every thought in your head. You see colourful people laughing, playing and dancing. They are speaking to you and you are really listening to them. You can see every move of the artists in their enchanted faces and in their bright open eyes.
Street art opens your eyes and ears for the beauty of music, painting, theatre and your city but most importantly your heart for another man.
